A native of the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. After graduation, he decided to help others by working for a non-profit in Ciudad Juarez in Chihuahua, Mexico. Andrew built homes for needy families in that troubled city. It was during this time that Andrew decided that he wanted to help people to improve their lives on a full-time basis.
Andrew went on to obtain his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. He completed his practicum at the Glick House Community Counseling Center, counseling individuals and families in both English and Spanish.
After graduating from Texas Wesleyan, Andrew obtained licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he worked as a therapist at Southwest Family Guidance Center. During this time, he counseled mostly children and families in Albuquerque Public Schools and the State of New Mexico’s Children Youth and Families Department.
Andrew eventually returned to North Texas where he now practices as a Therapist at CCD Counseling. He is supervised by Linda Metcalf, Ph.D. and Jon Crook, Ph.D.
